Arc

I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end and the result from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure and purpose…

I saw this in the CBS study for today. It’s from Isaiah 46 and not really part of the lesson but it struck me anyway.

I mostly like the image it gives me of God arcing over the span of time, covering everything that has happened or could happen.  The idea that this infinitely complex system – several infinitely complex systems, actually, all of them overlapping and interacting – is laid out and entirely known to Him…that’s pretty mindblowing.
